Jewish Duty Matters More Than Your Happiness

You can date anyone you want, but you must marry a Jew. That was my family’s mantra. It undoubtedly led my sisters and me to marry in the fold and made for some interesting relationships along the way. In truth, I don’t think I dated a Jewish woman until I graduated from college.
